As the moonlight reflects on the pond's surface the beautiful and colorful koi gather. To me this creates shimmering mystery. As well when I was painting this, to me it almost became an impressionist expression of a koi Mandela. This is painted with generous amounts of oil on canvas creating a textural delight.
Inspired by light, color, and nature. Elizabeth realized at a very young age that art and creating was her passion, her calling. Graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, she commenced working at an advertising agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Elizabeth enjoyed city life, but an opportunity arose to travel across Canada and throughout the United States with fellow artists. This adventure provided her with invaluable artistic insights and enriching life experiences. Upon return to Ontario, Canada, she settled out of the city to a smaller town in Northern Ontario.
