Beautiful Day was a commissioned painting to be displayed with two other of my 'One Tree' series that the collector acquired. In this series my focus is on creating an overall mood. Through nature and one tree, I represent human situations and emotions. To me this painting, Beautiful Day, is a reminder to look for all that is beautiful in nature. And to remember that there will always be days full of beauty and light.

The collector named the painting and I instantly loved it.

Beautiful Day is vibrant and alive with wonder. The sky is full of movement and dances with the flowing meadow grasses. This piece is painted with thick textural oil paints.

Inspired by light, color, and nature. Elizabeth realized at a very young age that art and creating was her passion, her calling. Graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, she commenced working at an advertising agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Elizabeth enjoyed city life, but an opportunity arose to travel across Canada and throughout the United States with fellow artists. This adventure provided her with invaluable artistic insights and enriching life experiences. Upon return to Ontario, Canada, she settled out of the city to a smaller town in Northern Ontario.
